Levantei-me e recomecei a correr, atravessei a ponte e fui ter ao outro lado do Parque, percebi que ele não vinha atrás de mim e parei. Instintivamente virei-me, o rio era o que nos separava. Por momentos senti-me segura, até que o vi. Estava entre as árvores, só via a sua sombra, a noite ocultava-lhe o rosto, protegia-o. Senti-me aterrorizada, em desvantagem, ele tinha a noite do lado dele.
Questionava-me o que quereria ele de mim, porque se dera ao trabalho de me seguir até ao Parque e depois limitar-se a observar-me. (continua...)
